Steve Jobs often said of new technology from Apple that “it just works.” What I took from this is the late Apple co-founder felt the latest iPod, iPhone, or another product, was powerful and easy to use and worked automatically out of the box. Recently, I had the opportunity to check out the GoDonut Original universal stand. My conclusion after a few weeks of use: indeed, it just works.

The circular stand measures just 4 inches in diameter and 1 inch in height. But don’t let its small size full you. It’s a compelling solution for what it does. The molded plastic device features simple grooves that hold your smartphone, tablet, or another slim mobile device in place.
