If a link to an article on a partner site is posted, you’ll be able to see richer content from that article — the first few lines of the article, the author’s name or video. The list of partners is getting larger. In this post on the Twitter blog, Breaking News, The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle or Der Spiegel online will have richer content. Now, a diverse and growing group of new partners like the The Wall Street Journal, Breaking News, and TIME also deliver rich content inside Tweets containing a link to the websites. As a part of that same move, you’ll also get exclusive WWE ring images, photos from BuzzFeed or TMZ, video from Lifetime, Dailymotion and clips from TV shows like BET’s 106 and Park. Twitter users could already view YouTube videos and Instagram photos in expanded tweets. This new feature was rolled out a couple of weeks ago.

I think this is a good move on Twitter’s part, and makes it easier to get  content in one stop. This could also be a good move for Twitter to start monetizing the service more. Comment Name * Email *
